From the Daily mail

Lot of stuff thats contradictory right now, but It'll shake out.
As far as the two Marines go? I hope the one wounded pulls through ok. But these guys, remember, were UNARMED. And beat his ass flat

"He said: 'He was just telling us to give back his gun. 'Give me back my gun! Give me back my gun!' But we just carried on beating him up and immobilized him and that was it.'"

Heh, heh... that'll learn him... :D

Tough bunch, those military fellows... both on and off duty.

Typical Infantile islamo-pigfucker; they should have blown his fucking teeth out

Turns out they weren't Marines, but 2 off-duty servicemen, and a civilian friend

But here they are folks, what Mal would call, Big Damn Heros

Be observant. I don't know if my brass balls are quite big enough to charge unarmed at a guy with an AK (I'd like to think so....) but sometimes even just calling in something suspicious to the cops can avoid a disaster. These guys saved God knows how many lives simply because they paid attention to a suspicious noise from a train bathroom.
As far as the train crew locking themselves in the cab........tough decision but they did the right thing. A crazy guy with a gun shooting people on a train is bad. A crazy guy taking control of that train and running it full speed into the next station is far worse.

Yeah I read that followup bit on Ace; while you're right, it doesn't exactly help the French-cheese-surrender meme too much
Especially when 2 other civilians, including a 62-year old Brit stepped in to assist beating the fucker flat
