Container ship likely sunk from gCaptain

Sailing into the path of a hurricane is never an intelligent move. But hey, money, or something....

I saw this on the news and the first thing I thought was "WTF were they thinking?!?" They knew it was coming, where it was going (more or less) and sailed into it anyway. I mean yea I get weather isn't usually an issue but this was a fucking Cat 4 Hurricane.

The coasties give news conferences for the retard media, who know as much about boats as fucking astrophysics. When you listen to the actual facts, the boat likely went down last Thursday. So with one body in a suit they found , but tossed back, you likely looking at just recovery. There's no one alive to find. The key is lots of scattered survival suits but empty ones. Lifeboat found smashed to a pulp; which means probably went down with ship and crushed then popped up. No, what you just said is going to be asked a lot, first by the drooling halfwits in media, then later by the NTSB which will actually know what they looking for

No updates other than the technical updates of who's searching, but they haven't found anything but some scattered debris now. Back end of a conex box which looks torn off not imploded. But no bodies, nothing.

Search was abandoned at sunset yesterday. Even a search for the hull will be difficult, since the water is rather deep in the area, > 2000m

NTSB has the lead now

Whatever happened, I shall take a few moments to think about the captain and crew and their families. And call me weird or crazy, but for the ship too.

She went down last October in a pouring driving rain.
The skipper, he'd been drinking and the Mate, he felt no pain.
Too close to Three Mile Rock, and she was dealt her mortal blow,
And the Mary Ellen Carter settled low.
