First I apologize because my English and very bad and I hope you understand.
Seeing the difficulty of the actresses with sinking, I thought using a boot with features of fish scales, it would help to sink without much force.
I hope you understand my drawing.

I have no idea f your idea is practical or not but I congratulate you for both thinking about such things (most people are too lazy to do so) and for the willingness to share the idea. A very famous scientist once said that the way to have a lot of good ideas was to have a very large number of ideas and then throw out the bad ones.
Of course, the test of your idea would be to actually construct a pair of boots and subject them to some basic experiments.

Agreed. It might be easier to keep the principle but change the execution a bit. Get a pair of boots with multiple cuffs and invert them. When the boot is pulled up the cuffs would expand and fill with mud making extraction difficult and sinking easier. I can already see where a few dollars at the Goodwill store would supply the requisite materials. This could be done.
It's a dirty job but I got to do it for 27 years. Thank you.

I like that idea, too.
I'm not sure if someone could craft that kind of boots but the overall idea of specialised sinking-footwear is really good.
More easy would be just buying boots that would weigh the model down after they fill up with mud. Maybe these UGG-boots or similar ones made of thick material that is prone to get soaked are useful for that kind of task. Wellies are also possible but they have to be tight-fitting around the ankle (so that the model can't slip out of them) and still have a wide shaft

First commend you for thinking about such things and for sharing them. I will, however, provide a little feedback. My point of feedback is that boots filling with mud will have no effect on buoyancy because the mud now inside the boot has the same specific gravity (effectively weight) as the mud outside.

I've always thought UGGs were best left in the bog... under the surface... LOL
Seriously though... this guy showed a lot of thought that went into this. That's the kind of out of the box thinking that goes places... even if it is down the street to the test bog!
