Read today about the last two survivors of the USS Arizona that got together to ring the ships bell. We are the last to grow up directly in the shadow of "The Greatest Generation" that bore the depression, fought a war on two fronts while supplying the world with food, fuel, and armaments, and then launched a revolution in human education, leisure, and material excess like the world has never seen. As if that wasn't enough they capped it with rebuilding our former foes and going to the moon. They won the war and the peace. A tremendous legacy that can't be erased.
