I watched it live. 8-)

Not sure how to express my happiness but feel the need to put it on record. I am overjoyed.

Now make that thing fly again. And again. Prove again that the impossible can be done even if it takes a little longer. Prove that we are not a planet of twittering Kardassians or bloodthirsty religious zealots hell bent on killing each other. Put on display the big brass set that some small part of humanity still posses and let's do great things. Take the process away from the politicians and cold bureaucrats and give mankind a chance at tomorrow. Maybe, just maybe, we have witnessed the beginning of that.

It's a dirty job but I got to do it for 27 years. Thank you.

5 months from mission fail to this. Every time I watch this, those cheers just get you, and tears of pure joy. Rocket science? You bet your ass. And sure, its a long way to go. But if you do it once, you can do it AGAIN.

And check out this still Space X has moments before touchdown; Thats not only a successful landing; they SHACKED the fucking thing, utterly dead centre on target. Holy Shit

They outdid Blue Origin by actually completing a mission, not just flying up and coming back down. One giant leap in the right direction. Now make it take back off and fly into space again with just a refuel.
