Actually I'm kind of surprised to find 2 pages of replies to this upon checking back. I didn't anticpate this would be controversial at all - I thought it more along the lines of 'world's gone mad(der)', no one seems to know why, are you as baffled as I am by these developments, kind of thing.

The factoid in the linked article that surprised me was the reduction in ownership (of 50pc of world's wealth) from 388 people in 2010 to just 62 in 2016 - how long before it's just one guy? LOL. Even 0.1% of 7 billon people is still 7 million people. So, 62/7,000,000,000 is... 8.85714286e-9 ... So it's more like the 0.000000001%

The world situation appears to be heading in the general direction of 'crazy' on multiple fronts. I just wonder how crazy things are going to get, is all.
