Cool Blade Runner find!

Postby Palinov Jensen » Thu Feb 18, 2016 5:32 pm

I was pretty excited when I found this on ebay and I just had to have it! I think I over paid for it. It was worth it at around $12. I've wanted one of these since I first saw the movie as a teen. Well, I saw the cable tv version on Pax Tv (remember when Pax Tv was a thing? lol), so I guess I haven't really seen Blade Runner!

I haven't seen the Blade Runner in over a decade, so I'm not sure how movie accurate this is. Either way, it's still pretty cool and I love it! It feels good to the touch too!

Haven't seen Blade Runner? Cool doodad but you need to see the movie for sure. I wasn't aware there was ever anything else. Interesting. Reminds me of the "Jonathon E" Rollerball jersey I got Try wearing that to the skating rink.

It's a dirty job but I got to do it for 27 years. Thank you.

I saw the movie back in the early to mid 2000's but I saw it on cable tv. I assume it was edited for tv, meaning I probably didn't get the proper experience. That's what I meant by "I guess I haven't really seen Blade Runner".

That is a really cool Jersey, by the way! How'd you get it?

Cool find! And make sure you see the director's cut of Blade Runner, not the theatrical release. Is Harrison Ford narrating the movie so you don't have to think? Then it's the wrong one.
The difference between theory and reality is that, in theory, there is no difference between theory and reality.

I noticed that there is a typo on the id card. It says "PENAL COED" instead of "PENAL CODE".

Director's Cut? I really hope I can find that online, to watch for free! lol. I think the theatrical release is what I saw on Tv all those years ago. Or maybe it was the US Broadcast version, which I had no idea existed until now! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Versions_of_Blade_Runner

Based off what you can remember at the moment, is my id card movie accurate? I've seen several different images floating around the internet. Including this one: http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/NTAwWDM3NQ==/z/JuwAAOSwcBhWVauM/$_1.JPG

I wonder how that got past quality control! lol!

Now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure this isn't a licensed product. Someone probably made a bunch of those cards in their basement and sold them on ebay... It's still cool!
