Love all of these, but there is just something about black and white which really works... :D

I own the Madonna "Sex" book. It's, uh, interesting, but really, since I'm a fetishist, it missed the mark for me, which I guess was inevitable. I really do love some of her music, though, and I drew some body parts out of the "Sex" book.

Actually, I had more copies of Penthouse for reading.

This little convenience store by me used to wrap Penthouse up in opaque paper except for one line of bold type on the very top of the cover. I never had any idea what the pictures were inside and all the sexy headlines were covered up too but...man...coming off a second-shift job at two in the morning and getting a few items at the convenience store with no other customers in sight to pass judgment left my brain pretty ripe to be exploited by a grabber headline. Playboy's news couldn't seem to interest me anywhere near as much as that single, evil, tempting, fascinating, and not always particularly sexy, line of type on the cover of Penthouse.

As an artist, the very best part of art school was the part where we got to draw the real naked models (either sex was fine with me). Post-graduation and pre-Internet, adult magazines served as a source.

I preferred Playboy models over Penthouse models for drawing, though. Their proportions were less extreme.

Then came the Internet...now I just go online and type "nude model" and there's a gazillion"!

i started with Playboy (my dad's subscription, i would ease them out of the mailing wrapper the day the new issue arrived, take a look, then put it back... but best was when he put the old issues into his stash and i had more time) for the pictures... but later came to appreciate the monthly Interview, the fiction, the comics... when i got old enough i had my own subscription for years... i wish the new direction well, but it's just not Playboy to me

as for outdoors in a setting, with wet skin, can i interest you in Petra Verkaik?

When you've got a scene that's essentially monochrome anyway it has it's place for sure.

Don't know how ya'll stand that. I despise winter or even what we have here which is probably still beach weather for you. Every year at the beginning of December I start waiting and counting for the first of March. For some reason that's always been the first day of spring to me. Two or three weeks I'll be mowing the lawn for the first time and I can't wait.

Have a double dose -

Ooo, sunflowers :D

Yeah it's a classic snowsquall right now, cold NW winds across open water on the big lake. Might get a smaller jag on Wed but these storms are the least predictable. Could be worse. 10-15cm here, I hearing its about double that down on Manitoulin Is and points E to North Bay

How have I NOT SEEN this thread before now?! (Slipping in my old age! Dammit!)

Anyway, here's my two cents so to speak. Here's the first lady I ever saw posing in a artsy sort of way ;)

Donna Ewin. (At least I think that was her name.)
