Time to peep into one of the older pages of history: Pitfall! for the Atari 2600. Here, we have bogs that either open periodically, get inhabited by crocodiles for you to jump on, and those that stay open, but with swinging vines that allow one to cross them. In Pitfall II: The Lost Caverns, particularly Sega's versions, the player either flies up to the screen or drops dead instead of sinking into any of the swampy obstacles.

Now if only someone could make a nude mod for the game...

I already did. Unfortunately, these appear to be young girls with very under-developed, pre-teen-like bodies, so I felt it might not be appropriate. Last thing I want to do is assist in introducing a new form of child porn

That is possible, given that the base sprites without the clothes have what is considered a "Barbie Doll Anatomy", hence the undesired appearances. To accomplish said alteration, change the player sprite's top component (e.g. Body_Top.gif) into boobs in place of a shirt, assuming that you are going for a nude mod.

Right now in the CHARA folder you will find folders for NANA, RYOKO and YUKI featuring .GIF files of their clothes and props.

But their sprite bodies appear to be hard-coded into the game and are not separate files. I don't have access to them.

I can't leave my friends hanging, so here are some screen shots to satisfy your curiosities. All appear to have hard-coded white panties too, no doubt sharing the same sprite body and just swapping hair and such.

I'm still working on eliminating those green glitches too...

How about designing skin-tight clothing that is actually skin, with certain "attributes"? A true "body" suit!

Let me see what I can do. Some of the .GIFs appear to be multi-layered like animated gifs, used to display certain features like their hair at more than one posed angle. Those may be difficult to edit.

I also slightly edited my post to emphasize that the clothing would be actually skin! Clothing that would actually be like slipping into a brand new nude body, with the appropriate shape!

It's trickier than it sounds, as matching new skin color to is quite difficult, and sometimes weird visual artifact appear.

OK, here's the next stage in modifying the demo game. I don't know if there will be any more.

The ladies are nude now except for little white panties. I guess the author had not planned on full-frontal, unless that's still to come.
