Here's a compilation of clips from the two Game Gear titles mentioned by luckykid77, with the addition of Labyrinth of the Sea (Zone 2-2) from Sonic Labyrinth, where the quicksand pools quickly reduce the time remaining for the level when Sonic enters any one of them, rather than sinking to death.

Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode II has the Oil Desert Zone, which has expanses of quicksand pools that have a similar behavior to the desert quicksand from Sonic the Hedgehog 3, slowing the player down drastically while sinking.

Mad Dash Racing for XBOX had slo-down obstacles such as tar-pits, quicksand, slime, and snow....

Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin has one. In the Sandy Graves painting, after you defeat the giant worm thing, the ground turns into quicksand. There is a HP Max Up if you sink to the bottom.

Nintendo Land for the Wii U. Specifically the 2nd level of the "Mario Chase" mini game. On that level, there are several slowing mud pits that cover the player as you pass through them. Not exactly quicksand, but at least it's mud.

I was planning on doing so, however, Xbox emulation is still at its early stages, which makes it a complete inconvenience. Add to the fact that I don't have the necessary resources (physical devices, such as the Xbox and TV-to-computer recording equipment) for such a thing, as well as being filled with different real-life tasks. With that, it is encouraged that anyone else who has said game may share clips for these obstacles.

There's a segment in Cabela's dangerous hunts 2 where you have quicksand as a hazard... I wonder if you can have Abby follow through the quicksand, If she is with you in those segments...


And There's Heroine's Quest with a swamp you need to cross...

I found out about a different death with the swamp that involves using the Blink spell on it... But it wasn't shown...
