Thought I'd add the lead-in scenes to that "Dog/Bigfoot comic...

This is kind of interesting to see. I've actually been present twice when dogs blundered straight ahead into studio gunk. For certain it can happen.

Dogs are not permitted anywhere near the pits here at Studio 588. For one season we did have Relentless the Cat. She loved to come around and watch the filming and even played a few very non-muddy roles in some scenes, but there was no way she was going to get close enough to get her feet muddy. I have occasionally found hoof prints from deer at the clay pit and a six-inch wide road plowed across the peat (made by a turtle). And we do have frogs in large numbers, but they mostly stay in the trees.
Studio 588 currently offers more than 2200 different HD and QD quicksand videos and has supported production of well over 2400 video scenes and other projects by 20 different producers. Info may be found at:

Something about dogs desire to go where the people are, follow the master, that sort of thing, that gets them into trouble. Cat's rarely have that problem since they are smart enough to find the most comfortable place and stay there. We did have one instance during Dave's first shoot where Janice brought her dog Atlas, an enormous Rottweiler. Thinking something was actually wrong he walked into the scene while she was tied up and interrupted the shoot. We had to wait while she explained things to him.

Last year we had a request from a model to bring her cat. This was strongly discouraged. In the end I cancelled that booking.

Hi!... This is not exactly a comic book, but to be a storyboard can be taken as a comic; I share the last pages of the script of our favorite cult film Starcrash (1977) These pages are part of the script that is included on the 2011 DVD, I downloaded the script of the DVD a year ago and just today I found these... Enjoy!
