Thanks for all that advice so far. The one with the infection sounds quite nasty indeed, though i have never heard something simlilar so far and am quite convinced that this won't be a problem over here around/near the North Sea in central europe. I strongly believe i will sink that far again soon, but will take care to close all "openings" as good as possible beforehand, bring a bottle of clean water and use repellents.
How do you manage not to panic? Is this just a matter of practice?
