Washington crushes Phily like a bug 6-1
5, FIVE powerplay goals. You couldn't have your way with them more if you had them hogtied, their pants around their ankles, and bent over the boards. And I could say worse. You CAN'T play like a bunch of clueless retards against the best team in the league. You cannot.
And oh, thanks so much you Philadelphia Fans, for being, well, just fucking Philadelphia. When the referee tells you loud and clear on the PA not to throw shit on the ice, OR ELSE. Trying be a collection of fucking screaming crybitches, and doing it anyway, to "hah, we showed him!" you fucking drooling imbeciles, your team gets a penalty. While they ALREADY trying to fucking kill 2 self-inflicted ones. Help like that no team needs.
I do hope you are shamed. Hard, I know for fucking morons, but TRY

Tied in 2nd period in Minnesota, late game to come

Minnesota edges Dallas 5-3 to score their first win in the series 2-1. A good game on both sides, end to end for most of it. It was hard to watch in one sense, since the jersey colours are nearly identical. Not quite, but close. After all, Dallas used to be the Minnesota North Stars

And LA prevents going down 3-0 which would likely been fatal, by winning 2-1 in OT. Another close, hard game. Good hockey and no silly stuff. Refreshing after the early stupidity in Phily

These are the series of shots where Bellemare ran Orlov into the boards. Now, you know its the guilty fuck talk, when Hextall, GM of the Flyers, is pre-empting any decisions on suspensions. And there should be. 2-3 games minimum. Because trying to blame the guy who luckily wasn't hurt because your guy had such a fucking massive lapse in judgement as to ask What the FUCK right away. This issue has been beat to death, and not new. One reporter essentially pissed on Hextall from great height by suggesting that unless this retardation stops, this ends with a guy with a broken neck and on a ventilator, and dead. Get your fucking head out of your ass NHL. And RIGHT FUCKING NOW

Pitt wins 3-1 to take a 2-1 series lead. Not a great game but fairly intense, the skill level of the Pens showed, and if Lundqvist hadn't been in net it would have been messy. The insta-view offside negated yet another goal (look I know I was right fellas, but you don't have to prove it every goddamned night...)

Tampa edged Detroit 3-2 in a very close game to take a 3-1 stranglehold on their series. Tampa played a little tight, but their PP team was on the job, as it has been all through the series.

Central time games underway, in 1st intermission

With some timely help from the zebras, St Louis takes a 3-1 series lead with their 4-3 win in Chicago. Kane took a bad penalty which cost them, but the late calls for what was a rather cheesy penalty made sure of the victory. And the fucking squirrel today is that Shaw was mean to the officials and called them names  Grow a fucking skin, bitch. And, try calling the fucking game better

Anaheim bounces back to score their first series win with a 3-0 shutout in Nashville. The puck just wasn't bouncing our way, and everything was for Anaheim. Eh

The entire city was geeked up to watch the Preds last night so of course they crashed and burned in spectacular fashion.
It's a dirty job but I got to do it for 27 years. Thank you.

First game at home, guys are excited, up 2-0, all the cliches imaginable. This is why coaching sucks and you tend to end up looking like Joel Quenville :D

Tonight's games:

Washington @ Philadelphia 1900
Florida @ NY Islanders 2000
Dallas @ Minnesota 2130
LA @ San Jose 2230

I going to go out on a limb and predict that if the Caps get a lead on them, the Fliers will become unglued along with their fans, resulting in a very messy display. Not that last go was any great shakes. Hope I'm wrong on this one

And, a little from Dave Hodge Like Don Cherry, he has been around long enough that he knows just about everything. And is not wrong most of the time.
