3 1/4 inch floppy disks?
I have about 150 3 1/4 inch floppy disks to give away if anyone has a use for them. Obviously they are useless for their original purpose but I ask because sometimes alternative uses turn up if you have a lot of something. They go in the trash collection in about a week if no one wants them.
Studio 588 currently offers more than 2200 different HD and QD quicksand videos and has supported production of well over 2400 video scenes and other projects by 20 different producers. Info may be found at:

I think you mean either 3.5" or 5.25" disks.
I have never heard of 3.25" disks.

Floppies are useless, but maybe you can use them as a prop as a flashback scene of a "Geek Grrl" reminiscing of her first love with quicksand, or something like that.

Yeah, I have an unopened case of the things. Still got 40mb reels on a rack from IBM 360/370 days. I remember dreaming about having enough and now I can't give them away.
It's a dirty job but I got to do it for 27 years. Thank you.

If anyone wanted them for actual storage I would recommend some therapy along the way. I offered them here figuring someone might have something else they might be used for. Coasters? Somehow I expect making a floppy disk bikini would not he highly successful. As for the 5 1/4 inch disks, they went into the trash a long time ago.

I do that a lot. Always trying to come up with some kind of brilliant alternative use for things like that and the small warehouse full of retired but still functional technology that I have to get hauled off every year. I keep some of it just for "what if" purposes but I never need any of it unless I throw it out. Then the fates and gremlins make certain I need it right away.

Good news, Fred! Apparently there's some people out there who can still use those floppies:
