Agreed.
Mexican cinema seems to have a fascination with scenes like this - kind of an altered reality drowning thing. Sometimes it's an obvious metaphor for something not obvious (huh?).

Yeah and a lot of times it works for me. Can't explain exactly why but it seems to be more about creating a feeling than anything. Maybe it's my Latin heritage.
It's a dirty job but I got to do it for 27 years. Thank you.
