Pittsburgh wins game one 3-2. They went out 2-0 in the first, but San Jose tied things in the 2nd (with an assist from the zebras) . A late goal put them ahead for good, despite a cheesedick late penalty attempting to force a tie. I miss having competent referees, who just did the game, and didnt kiss the NHL's ass for drama.

A late goal allowed San Jose to tie the game to force overtime, after being massively outplayed the entire game. If It wasn't for Ward, the score would have been around 8-0. But, early in OT Sheary score a beautiful goal to end it and win 2-1 and take a 2-0 series lead. The non-cbc commentators are taking notice of the real team on the ice, cbc continues to try to figure out a graceful way to stop fellating SJ, but they need work. Crosby was fantastic, again, and the Kessel line has now combined for 50 points in these playoffs.

One fun note, Malkin and his wife had a little boy yesterday, Nikita, 7 pounds, 1 ounce. Gino's number of course, is #71

More on that OT goal. It takes longer to tell than it does to watch. But Crosby, sets up what's going to happen. OK, I'm going to win the draw, and pass back to Letang. Hornqvist, you go to the front of net like normal. Chris, instead of shooting, fake the shot, then pass to Sheary. And you take the shot. The only thing he didn't say was Sheary, you'll score. The balls on the guy. Unbelievable

Both the NHL and Zebras are nothing but a collection of fucking cuntstains who want their magical snowflakes to win. I give the team utterly no fucking credit what so ever

After playing a game that was low scoring and low in penalties, Pitt covered SJ like a blanket in the 3rd, forechecking relentlessly , allowing only 2 shots on goal by them in the entire period.
