I had meant to edit my comment, when driving through the area I looked up photos of it and the most recent ones were of a dried area. I did not realize how huge it was.
FYI, the newly emerges ones are very hot and a bit dangerous... some one was telling me the ground gave way and they got thier leg scorched when they were just poking around doing recon....
its a very large field i guess....
