Fall Colours

Postby kham » Fri Oct 16, 2009 11:26 pm

A brief change from ladies in assorted sinking perils :) a couple shots of the fall colours, which tend to miss out on more often than not; just lucky to be home at the moment to enjoy this year

That's some serious color you've got there.

Beautiful! :D

That second pic... is that taken from Highway 17 North? Sure resembles the north shore...

My absolute favorite time of year - leaves changing. You are a bit ahead in Ontario of us here in Pennsylvania, but we are starting to get some good color. Thanks for posting this off-topic.

One of the highlights of the year, and in my opinion the most enjoyable and beautiful of the four temperate zone seasons. Autumn is also the fastest of course, and this year in the Alleghenies and Laurel Highlands it will be ever faster with the rapid arrival of the cold and wet conditions that ruined my trip to those mountains for this weekend.

Beautiful photographs BTW, thank you for sharing them.

Great shots. The leaves were looking nice here too till mother nature decided winter was starting early this year. 2" of snow on the ground as I'm typing this....

Mynock - you must be up in northern or west central PA, where it is snowing. My son is at PSU - snow and some wild weather there according to his accounts. Only cold rain here in southeastern PA.

Thank you for sharing those gorgeous pictures! I really like fall. In addition to the wonderful colors in the leaves, I like the cool crispness in the air. Even cloudy, wet weather with the cool air and autumn colors is appealing.
