Hello everyone.
After many years of not being able to explore and sink, I finally was able to make it out today and take my wife with me.It has been well over 6 years since I last sank and since my wife and I met after that time she has never been but has always wanted too. Today that all changed. This was her first time ever playing mud more than ankle deep and a revisiting of a site I sank in several times before.
We grabbed our things and made a 45 minute drive out to the area. This area has a large creek that runs into the Lake. Upon arriving we notice that one of the bags was missing. I had forgot the bag with our towels on the porch.

So armed with only a bag with some water bottles and a change of clothing we started on the hike through the woods. Now normally I take the path on the other side of the creek but I wanted to see where the main trail went that I had never finished before. We made it all the way to the end but really no luck yet. The creek was high due to rains the night before. So we crossed over the bridge on the gravel road and started back down the other side. However we met a lot of resistance due to the weeds and growth through the clearings and no real path. I did some path finding and low area searching but no luck. We ultimately had to turn back when we encountered a huge patch of stinging nettle.

After trying to search a few more areas on the way back to the parking lot on the main trail I spotted some vegetation mainly associated with damp areas. So I decided to go and check it out. It was pretty over grown but there was a few spots of some exposed brown clay. The ground began to give way below me so I turned back to go get my wife who was waiting in the shade up on the path. Since it was getting late and we had been searching for well over an hour we decided to make the best of it and see what we could do in this spot. So I helped her down the embankment and we put our stuff down and took our shoes off. The brown clay started to ooze through our toes as we made our way over. However due to the over growth it was hard to walk and there was stuff in the clay. But I made it over to the small clearing followed by my wife. I started to work my legs up and down and the clay quickly gave way and I went down a good 4 inches pretty quickly. It was really thick and had a lot of suction. I encountered some branches on the way down, but I managed to get down to my mid thigh just below my shorts. It was pretty hard to move my legs at this point. The suction on my feet was pretty solid and I knew I would have a bit of work to get out. So I decided to stop working my legs and focus on my wife. She had started work on a spot beside me. She slowly managed to work herself down to her knees. At this point I was shorter than her for the first time and she was close enough to lean over to me and we did a little bit of making out and rubbing each others breasts.

So after a few minutes we decided we better get back since we had to wash up and get going home. Extracting my legs from the grip of the clay was a bit strenuous, but I manged to get my right leg free and then my left leg. I then helped my wife get her legs out. Walking out of there without shoes was painful. There was some thorns that made their way down there and now I had to step on them to get passed. So we gathered our stuff and headed up the embankment. On the way back there was a good puddle so we washed our legs off. We then headed down to the beach to wash our feet off enough to get our shoes back on.
On the way home we talked about the experience and my wife loved it. She wants to do it again and get much deeper next time. However the next time we will take the other side of the creek opposite of the main path where I was before. I seen a couple of good spots on the way back, but they were on the other side. We need to be a bit more prepared next time and not forget the towels and invest in some mud footwear. My wife had said she got quite turned on being in the mud and seeing it take me down. She is a fan and wants to do it a lot more. She did however say that she likes the idea of a man made pit only because of the over growth. But I think its just more of finding a better spot.
I hope you enjoyed this small tale and hope to bring you more in the future.
