Which Godzia are you referring to? If I remember right, only one has it where Godzilla actually dies. In that one, she actually avoided everything that wasn't small arms fire. At the point where she died, she was on the bridge (tangled I believe. It's been a while since I have watched it.) so they had a stationary target to hit. Godzilla was just too nimble otherwise.
THAT is not Godzilla.
